Throughout his career, Alan has held senior positions at KPMG across various UK firms, including the NHS and private equity sectors. He has served as the Irish firm Country Lead and contributed to KPMG Global Healthcare, focusing on European, UAE, and Oman markets. Alan’s expertise in NHS transformation is evident from his involvement in the NHSE turnaround panel in 2022 and his contributions to the GSTT-Royal Brompton merger, particularly in organizational development.
Alan’s private sector and private equity network enable him to provide clients with valuable insights and support in PPP planning, engagement, and commercial considerations. He is also a thought leader in the field, frequently invited to chair and speak at conferences in the UK, Ireland, and the UAE (Arab Health), where he contributes to trend and policy discussions.
Alan served on the National Children’s Hospital Board from 2013 to 2017 and was the first lay member of Ireland’s National Immunisation Advisory Committee from 2020 to 2021.
