Michael brings over 40 years of experience with NHS England, where he has played a pivotal role in improving performance, system redesign, reducing deficits, and driving excellence and innovation. With extensive board-level experience, he is recognized as a healthcare turnaround expert.
Michael’s leadership has been instrumental in achieving an “Outstanding” rating from the UK Care Quality Commission. He has also been honored with the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Inspirational Leader award.
For his services to the NHS, Michael was awarded a CBE in Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th Birthday Honours, acknowledging his significant contributions to the healthcare sector.
